2022 Vintage
Harvest Notes
Harvest Date: August 31-September 15, 2022
The 2022 growing season brought both opportunities and challenges. It began with below-average rainfall paired with mild, cool temperatures, resulting in an even budbreak and flowering. Limited rainfall and warm weather produced small, concentrated berries and a lower-than-average yield—but the quality remained exceptional. Precision irrigation and careful vine management were vital throughout the season. A warm summer with two late heat spikes led to an earlier harvest, all wrapped up in a narrow window.

Ratings and Reviews
“The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is a seriously beautiful wine. Dark, ample and layered, it unfurls in the glass with dark red fruit, rose petal, pomegranate, iron, white pepper and spice. The 2022 doesn’t have the structure or depth of the more important years, but l am not sure that is such a bad thing. This is very good.” (Oct. 2022)
